How to Install phpMyAdmin on CentOS or RHEL

In this guide, i will show you how to install phpmyadmin using remi repository. Phpmyadmin is the latest package from remi repository at the time i wrote this guideline. It’s maybe different if you test it on your side. This steps has been tested on CentOS 5.5 64 bit. However, it same goes to 32 bit OS on CentOS or RHEL.

Prerequisites :
1. How to Prepare Other Yum Repositories For CentOS or RHEL
2. How to Install php 5.3 on CentOS or RHEL
3. How to Install Apache Httpd Web Server on Linux
4. How to Install MySQL Database in Linux using Yum

After installed all above prerequisites, you can run this yum command:

    [[email protected] /]# yum --enablerepo=remi install phpmyadmin
